The New Zealand government has announced effective October 1st, 2019 U.S. citizens, British, Canadian, and Australian Permanant residents along with 56 other nationalities that can currently enter New Zealand under the NZ visa waiver program will require an NZeTA visa for both arrivals by Air and Cruiseship. Starting in mid July 2019 travelers will be able to apply for an NZeTA visa, it will become mandatory for travel to New Zealand from October 1st. The eTA visa will be issued for 2 years and good for multiple entries into New Zealand.
